Brutal Peace Sign

Then jumbo peace is a great message to share in your home, office or anyplace you can see it.

Big Aum

I had a request for making "Aums" by Tiffany Floyd in Evansville, IN.  I made two card holders for her and as usual it lead me to the bigum.  The symbol is cut from "donated" 3/4 plywood, the backer is 3/8 inch plywood and the frame is pine pallet wood.  This aum has a charcoal glaze attached to a texturized backer.  The frame has was painted and then distressed.  The entire piece has a coat of hand brushed lacquer for a clean finish.

New Display

In the process of getting rid of using folding tables to display my work.  I read a blog that stated that a maker should show case their work with a more pizazz than something sitting on a table or hanging from a tent pole.  My new display for coat racks, peace signs and other wall hanging should be a great addition to my display at Franklin Street this year.

Red Fish Key Rack

Key Rack for Your Fishing Shack

I made these dudes to hold your keys while you go and try to catch the big one.  The piece measures around 14 inches long.  The nails used are from sometime in the 1800s.  How many ways can I use my favorite fish?

 Three Fish Sculpture

The three fish started out to be mobile pieces and ended up on a nice chunk of wood.  These guys are painted with black oil paint, buffed and then coated with polyurethane.  The chuck of wood adds to the texture to the piece.
